It has come to the knowledge of the Board and Management of the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) and its parent company the Nelson Mandela Institution (NMI) that unknown individuals have fraudulently been advertising the sale of 236 Hectares of land situated at Plot 21 Industrial Area II, Cadastral Zone C17 with file number MISC 88677 belonging to the AUST.

This is to notify the general public that the said parcel of land is NOT FOR SALE and that by law AUST is prohibited from selling the said land parcel.  You are therefore hereby advised to desist from any form of negotiation with any individual(s) pertaining to the sale of this parcel of land in order to avoid being a victim of land fraud, which could put you in legal jeopardy.
